You Are Your Own Temple

On 25th June 2014 Pope Francis preaching to 33,000 people stated 'it is dangerous to believe that one can have a personal, direct, immediate relationship with Jesus Christ without communion and the mediation of the Church'.

Is this really true....or just another bold faced lie put out by this Pope?

1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you people are God's temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1 Corinthians 6:15-20 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ away and make them members of a harlot? Never may that happen......What! Do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body? For, "The two", says he, "will be one flesh"......But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.....Flee from fornication. Every other sin that a man may commit is outside his body, but he that practices fornication is sinning against his own body......What! Do you not know that the body of you people is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? Also, you do not belong to yourselves.....For you were bought with a price. By all means, glorify God in the body of you people. (God the Father created our bodies, God the Son redeemed them, and God the Holy Spirit dwells within them. This makes our body the very temple of the Holy Spirit of God).

1 Peter 2:5 You yourselves, also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for the purpose of a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

So we now know that the bricks and mortar of Churches are NOT a necessary part of Christianity, neither are the popes and priests, all are immaterial.
Below we will look at the difference between 'Spiritual Christians' who are their own temples and the 'Religious Christians' who are held within the constraints and dogma of the apostate Church.

Spiritual Christians

  1. Seek Christ
  2. Talk to Christ wherever the are and whatever they are doing.
  3. Believe in Christ.
  4. Are not tethered to bricks and mortar and Church dogma.

Religious Christians

  1. Seek other religious Christians
  2. Can only talk to Christ through the mediators of the Church, forbidden to have direct contact with Christ.
  3. Believe in the Church.
  4. Gather in many Churches and many denominations, each denomination with their own agenda, a house divided within itself, is a house that will soon crumble and fall

Spiritual Christianity is a 'Free Spirit searching for Enlightenment' and asking for guidance from Jesus to follow the right path.

Religious Christianity binds the spirit, the followers have to ask for guidance from the Church not Jesus.

Jesus is in each and everyone of us, He sees us for who we are, whether a free spirit or tied to the apostate Church. He knows those who truly believe in Him.

So you may ask the question 'Why bother to leave the apostate Church?
Answer: Set yourself FREE!........ Free from the guilt, burdens and dogma forced on you by the self proclaimed man-gods of the CHURCH.
