By 200 AD the Catholic Church was firmly entrenched as the leading 'Christian' force, and the single most destructive force of Christs teachings.
And lets not forget the Catholic Church is one of the richest institutions on the planet, but most of their followers live in poverty and the priests still beg from THEM.
A three points of clarity
The Catholic Church has a strict hierarchical leadership:-
Each is subservient to one above and women were completed excluded from this patriarchal, misogynistic religion.
Jesus preached to both men and women as equals:-
Galations 3:28 There is neither male or female - Christ gave men and women equal status.
To enforce the exclusion of women the Roman Catholic hierarchy actively denounced Eve as the reason for the 'downfall of man' and Mary Magdalene as a prostitute, there is no evidence anywhere in the Bible to suggest that she was in fact a prostitute.
The Bible actually states that she was possessed by 7 demons and Christ cleansed her of these demons, she then became one of His stanchest devotees and followers.
The Church hierarchy state that their 'Church' is the Kingdom of God, but Jesus says otherwise:
John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Here Jesus clearly states that His Kingdom is NOT on Earth but IN Heaven.
Isaiah 2:2-4 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-shears: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Here we can see that the Kingdom of God will be established on Earth when Jesus returns.
This is after the Great Tribulations which are yet to happen [but have started] - He will return to prevent the total annihilation of humans from the calamities of earthquakes, famine, pestilence and a final devastating nuclear world war.
The Roman Catholic Church ISN'T and has NEVER been about Christ and His teachings....
It has ALWAYS been about political power, anyone who disagreed with them would be tortured in the most horrific ways usually ending with being burnt at the stake as a heretic.
For those of you who haven't read the Bible but believe that all the barbarism was committed in the name of 'Christ', you have just fallen foul to the anti-Christian rhetoric which makes you part of the problem, and yet you expound the ideology that Islam is the 'Religion of Peace'.
In order to understand the teachings of Christ YOU have to READ the Bible and not rely on the FALSE teachings of 'Religious Christians' -- these are anti-Christ's = Established Churches.
The same applies to the Qur'an, YOU have to READ the Qu'ran to understand that Islam is just another political ideology that is using Muslims to commit terrible acts of barbarity against anyone who disagrees them - Can you now see the connection between 'Religious Christianity' and Islam?
The New testament has been adulterated by the papacy, by incorporating pagan rituals to gain more followers and the Jewish Talmud [the Talmud promotes paedophilia and the total subjugation of all females].
To emphasise - CHRIST'S TEACHINGS ARE ABOUT SPIRITUAL AWAKENING FOR ALL - NOT POLITICAL DOMINATION AND SUBJUGATION OF THE MASSES BY 'POWER CRAZY' AND 'LUSTFUL' - 'MEN OF THE CHURCH'.
The doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church states - Only those who had direct access to Christ or could trace their linage from the apostles could become leaders in the church. Since no one can now have access to Christ every believer could only have access to salvation through the Church - Christ/God belongs to the church and the Church alone.
Some Gnostic's were unhappy with the way the Church was developing, Peter was concerned that many believers would be drawn into an heretical Christianity and that they 'will fall into an erroneous name' and 'would be ruled heretically'. The risen Christ explains to Peter that those who 'name themselves bishop and deacon, as if they had received their authority from God' are in reality, 'waterless canals'. Although they 'do not understand mystery', they 'boast that the mystery of truth belongs to them alone'.
The papacy demand blind obedience.
In the days before the printing press all Bible manuscripts were written by hand.
Their distribution was strictly controlled by the church. The laity (followers) were NOT allowed to own or even read it.
The only thing that ended this was the invention of the printing press, mass production was harder to control.
Council of Toulouse (1229 A.D)
Papal church leaders ruled: "We prohibit laymen possessing copies of the Old and New Testament ... We forbid them most severely to have the above books in the popular vernacular." "'The lords of the districts shall carefully seek out the heretics in dwellings, hovels, and forests, and even their underground retreats shall be entirely wiped out." Pope Gregory IX, Council Tolosanum, 1229 A.D.
Roman Catholic Council of Tarragona
"No one may possess the books of the Old and New Testaments in the Romance language, and if anyone possesses them he must turn them over to the local bishop within eight days after the promulgation of this decree, so that they may be burned."
William Tyndale 1494 - 1536 - Father of the English Bible
He was desperate to translate the Bible into English for the everyday Christian, even though translation into English was banned in 1408.
When talking to a priest Tyndale said - "If God spares my life, ere many years pass, I will cause a boy that driveth the plow shall know more of the Scriptures than thou dost."
He went ahead and translated the Bible and was burned at the stake for heresy on 6th October 1536.
Why was it so important that the common people not be allowed to read the Bible?
Education is knowledge - knowledge is freedom. Education was generally frowned upon.
As most people were illiterate the church could tell their followers what they saw fit and leave out anything they thought would challenge their control of the masses. The followers were a captive audience with no way of verifying what they were told, indoctrination at it's finest and any descent was quickly and ruthlessly quelled.

Anti-Semitism was part of this apostate Christian religion, how could they hate Jews and then tell their followers that Christ was a practising Jew!!
The priests would also 'add' to the Bible - i.e. There is no mention of homosexuality as the reason for the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah , this was added by the papacy in 78 AD. The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was NOT because of homosexuality, the reason for the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was because of inhospitality towards strangers.
Travellers across the Middle East would expect to be welcomed into a strangers home for refreshment and rest but the people of Sodom and Gomorrah had grown selfish and unwelcoming, they had drifted away from God and worshipped idols, and their fate was to be destroyed.

Genesis 19:4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have intercourse with them.”
- This is where the the papacy have 'altered' the meaning of the statement - In the Middle East rape was commonly used as a punishment against both females and males, a practice that still happens in the Middle East today..
Genesis 19:8 Lot tells the baying mob "I have two daughters who have never had intercourse with men, let me bring them out to you"
- Here again we can see the total disregard in which women were held, also women who were raped bore the blame for the sins of men, they would be either ostracised or killed for bringing shame onto the the family, this still happens today in certain cultures.
The papacy continued this into the New Testament:
The Magdalene Laundries - also known as The Magdalene Asylums - for those of you who haven't heard of these......They were institutions set up by the Catholic Church and run by Catholic Nuns, Monks and Priests for 'Problem Girls' and 'Unmarried Mothers'.
They were nothing more than prisons for young girls and women who had NEVER committed a crime. They had no rights under any laws and could be placed there on a whim, the governments, police and papacy were ALL complicit in this abhorrent treatment of poverty stricken girls and women.
The nuns would beat, humiliate and starve the them, the monks and priests would rape them, they were forced to work in the laundries to make the Church money, these poor girls were nothing more than slaves, the best thing they could hope for was not to be beaten or raped.
These laundries and asylums were started in the 18th century and ran right up until 1996, when they were all finally closed.
Over 30,000 girls and women were abused and raped by the men and women of the ungodly, anti-Christ Catholic Church.
Not forgetting of course, the untold millions of men, women, girls and boys murdered and abused over the centuries.
